The New York Field Division is responsible for ATF criminal enforcement and industry regulatory activities in the State of New York. This field division is committed to reducing violent crime in our communities by denying criminals access to firearms, and removing armed offenders from our streets to face justice in our courts. We encourage all residents to get involved and assist us in our goal of reducing crime in our neighborhoods by anonymously submitting information through our new ATF Tips app (Android and iOS), visiting the reportit website, submitting an anonymous form, or by reaching out to your local field office. NEW YORK – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the New York City Police Department (NYPD) have announced a combined reward of up to $25,000 (up to $12,500 from ATF, up to $10,000 from NYPD, and up to $2,500 from Crime Stoppers) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the explosion which took place on July 3, 2016, at approximately 10:52 a.m. in Central Park, in close proximity to the 60th Street and 5th Avenue entrance. The explosion resulted in a severe injury to one victim.
