Biden, the buffoon has woke up.

Biden and NRA Butt Heads We’re all watching, Joe. After the Newtown, Conn., massacre, Vice President Joe Biden will attempt to push through legislation on gun control by Jan. 15 that would reinstate his expired ban on assault weapons. Biden, who clashed with a voter who displayed semiautomatic rifle in a video question at a 2007 presidential-primary debate, has been vocal in his fight with the NRA. Those in favor of restrictions say there’s no better man than Biden, who’s been fighting for 30 years. The NRA says he’s a ideologue who isn’t fit to have a “conversation” on guns. Biden owns two shotguns. Read it at The New York Times December 30, 2012 8:22 AM

Speak On It! President Obama Addresses Gun Control On 'Meet The Press

GLOBAL GRIND 1 Hour Ago Speak On It! President Obama Addresses Gun Control On 'Meet The Press' (DETAILS) by Lindsey Paul President Obama made an appearance on 'Meet The Press' this morning, and he was not shy about discussing gun control after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The President said that he wanted to put his "full weight" behind a legislative gun control package in order to avoid another catastrophe. DETAILS: The Pressure's On! President Obama Scolds Congress For Fiscal Cliff Decision Delay He said on the show: 'It is not enough for us to say, 'This is too hard so we're not going to try,' Obama said. 'So what I intend to do is I will call all the stakeholders together. I will meet with Republicans. I will meet with Democrats. I will talk to anybody. 'I think there are a vast majority of responsible gun owners out there who recognize that we can't have a situation in which somebody with se

It’s Not About Gun Control…Population Control Is More Like It

WESTERN JOURNALISM 3 Hours Ago It’s Not About Gun Control…Population Control Is More Like It by Tim Powers Just like Pol-Pot, Mao, Che, Castro, Marx, Stalin, Hitler, Asad, Hussein, and many other dictators, the end game wasn’t about disarming their citizens. It was about total control and having the ability to sustain a population of supporters. Let’s take a look at what the left-wing liberal/communists actually stand for and get away with here in the US. It is all about population control. As Saul Alinsky said, “the ends justify the means”. First, abortion, including infanticide (this is clearly supported by Obama). Second, gun running into Mexico, Libya, and now Syria. Third, giving aircraft to the Muslim Brotherhood. Fourth, Obamacare, forcing contraception mandates and forming death panels in order to decide who lives or dies. You see, in order for this ideology to work, one must eliminate the tools of the opposition, namely guns. This isn’t just a plan here in the United

Obama hopes to enact new gun-control measures in 2013 - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

THEHILL.COM 21 Minutes Ago Obama hopes to enact new gun-control measures in 2013 - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room By Meghashyam Mali - 12/30/12 09:49 AM ET Tweet President Obama on Sunday said he would make gun control a priority in his new term, pledging to put his “full weight” behind passing new restrictions on firearms in 2013. “I'm going to be putting forward a package and I'm going to be putting my full weight behind it,” said Obama in an interview aired on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I'm going to be making an argument to the American people about why this is important and why we have to do everything we can to make sure that something like what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary does not happen again.” The president in the wake of the mass shooting at a Newtown, Conn. school has launched a White House task force led by Vice President Joe Biden to present proposals in January to help stem gun violence. Obama has said that he would seek a broad approach to the

ATF to Register All Guns

BREITBART.COM 12 Hours Ago Feinstein: More Power, More Money to ATF to Register All Guns by AWR Hawkins 29 Dec 2012, 7:47 PM PDT post a comment In other words, in addition to banning "assault weapons" and handguns like Glocks, Sig Sauers, Smith & Wesson M&Ps, and H&Ks, the legislation will also empower the ATF to be sure every gun is placed on a government registry. The version of the legislation which Feinstein has already released to the public makes this crystal clear in the section that "requires grandfathered weapons to be registered under the National Firearms Act." There it says the legislation will include "dedicated funding for ATF to implement registration." This is but one more proof of the incremental drive behind this latest gun control push. The "assault weapon" ban has already been expanded to an "assault weapon" and semi-auto handgun ban. And once a major public crime is committed with a gun not on

In America, established rights such as religious liberty and the right to bear arms are currently under attack.

AMERICANTHINKER.COM 7 Hours Ago Articles: Hobby Lobby and the Loss of America's Soul by Jeannie DeAngelis In America, established rights such as religious liberty and the right to bear arms are currently under attack. Liberals are in charge and they seem to feel that straightforward Constitutional precepts require alteration or eradication. Take for instance the "right to privacy" -- the left has had no problem broadening the meaning of "privacy" to include the right to kill an unborn child. As for religious liberty, unless you're a Muslim demanding a Ramadan meal, liberals like Supreme Court judge Sonia Sotomayor, rather than uphold religious liberty, facilitate Barack Obama's effort to redefine the free exercise clause of the First Amendment. Currently, Obamacare is ushering in a new definition of "religious liberty." So far, the Catholic Church has already received fair warning that when it comes to providing insurance that covers b

Alan Greaves, 68, from Sheffield, who died after being brutally attacked on his way to midnight mass on Christmas Eve

By Peter Hitchens PUBLISHED: 22:33 EST, 29 December 2012 | UPDATED: 22:39 EST, 29 December 2012 Alan Greaves, 68, from Sheffield, who died after being brutally attacked on his way to midnight mass on Christmas Eve Those of us who know what is going on in this country are often derided by smug, wealthy Londoners. They accuse us of ‘moral panic’ and of exaggerating the breakdown of our society. I ask these complacent people to consider the terrible death of Alan Greaves, attacked on Christmas Eve itself. He was on his way to play the organ at Midnight Mass. Instead he met evil on a suburban road, as it is now all too easy to do. Our safety on the dark streets does not depend on police patrols, which is a good thing as they have virtually been abolished. It depends on an invisible web of goodness and restraint, conscience and courage – all things encouraged by the Christian belief that Mr Greaves did so much to support, and which we celebrate and recall at this time of year.

VA Tech Review Panel: High Capacity Magazine Ban Would Not Have Stopped 2007 Shooting

BREITBART.COM 2 Hours Ago VA Tech Review Panel: High Capacity Magazine Ban Would Not Have Stopped 2007 Shooting by AWR Hawkins 30 Dec 2012, 5:15 AM PDT post a comment In a very detailed manner, the panel reports how many magazines Cho purchased, and when and from where he purchased them. They also report that some of those magazines held 15 rounds -- which is 5 rounds beyond the maximum capacity allowed by the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban (AWB). 10 rounds was the maximum number of rounds a new magazine could hold when the ban was in effect. However, because the AWB expired in October 2004, Cho was able to purchase 15 round magazines with no problem in 2007. But guess what? The panel says that the ban wouldn't have stopped Cho anyway. They said forcing him to use 10 round magazines instead of those that hold 15 rounds "would have not made that much difference in the incident." Why would it have not made any difference? Because he was shooting at unarmed people, thus
