Fellow Conservative, Some childhood memories stick around for a lifetime. For instance, I still remember my first public speaking competition when I was 7 years old. Although I was fearful, my dad helped me through it and taught me the importance of preparation and confidence. Now, every time I give a speech on behalf of our 500,000 Heritage members, I lean on my dad's lesson from many years ago. Kids are very impressionable. And we can teach them valuable lessons even from a young age. That's why Heritage cancelled our work meetings yesterday to bring our sons and daughters to work.
