Gun control USA, but F-16s for the Muslim Brotherhood

THECOMMENTATOR.COM 13 Hours Ago Gun control USA, but F-16s for the Muslim Brotherhood by Raheem Kassam The administration of Barack Obama is likely to be remembered, in the short term at the very least, for saying, "No" to Americans owning rifles, but "Yes" to the Muslim Brotherhood's demands for F-16 fighter jets. Of course, given Mohammed Morsi's penchant for anti-Semitism, a fact that extends further than the unscrupulous brain of just the Egyptian President himself, you may have thought the American government would think twice before arming the regime with devastatingly effective fighter jets. Alas, once again, we are forced to stomach the dealings between Western powers and nasty theocracies. As we are all painfully aware of by now, many Democrats and a significant number of Republicans are in favour of extending gun control in the United States - an irony not lost on numerous political commentators who have noticed that US legislators seem

State House Blocks Obama Gun Laws

CONSERVATIVEBYTE.COM 9 Hours Ago State House Blocks Obama Gun Laws Posted onFebruary 2, 2013byConservative Byte Wyoming’s House of Representatives has passed legislation that attempts to exempt the state from proposed federal regulations restricting assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. The law would also charge federal officials who try to enforce the ban with a misdemeanor, reports CBS. The state could have problems enforcing its own law. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that federal laws supersede state laws. It’s uncertain whether the block would be legally enforceable. President Barack Obama has called for reinstituting a federal assault weapons ban following the shootings in Connecticut in December that killed 20 elementary school students. However, it’s far from certain whether there are enough Republicans who would join with Democrats to pass a renewal of the ban, as Republicans in general have been cool to the idea. The Wyoming House also preliminarily app

Convicted Rapist Organizing Gun Control Rallies. Seriously?!?

RATIONALITYREBOOTED.COM 8 Hours Ago Convicted Rapist Organizing Gun Control Rallies. Seriously?!? On Saturday morning, January 26, 2013, Jerome McCorry organized a protest outside the Bill Goodman's Gun and Knife Show in Miami Valley, OH. That is not unusual nowadays to have gun control advocates protest outside gun shows. He told local media, who replayed his comments on the nightly news, that "We know that guns are being sold on the floor inside Hara Arena illegally. No background checks, no identification of any kind. [...] AK-47s and M16s are not gonna be used for hunting, they're not going to be used to protect anybody. These are the weapons that are coming back and being used in mass murders and mass killings." That is not unusual, either, to hear from a gun-control advocate nowadays. Of course, all of that information is patently false. AK-47s, which can fire in fully automatic, are already illegal and not permitted to be sold to the general public, nor are

Sylvester Stallone: I Support Gun Control, Assault Weapons Ban

GOSSIP COP 1 Hour Ago Sylvester Stallone: I Support Gun Control, Assault Weapons Ban Truth rating: 10 Sylvester Stallone 6:21 pm, February 2nd, 2013 Sylvester Stallone is in favor of new gun control legislation, including the reinstatement of a ban on assault weapons. Known for violent, action-packed films, the Rambo star weighed in this week on the continuing national debate on guns. “I know people get [upset] and go, ’They’re going to take away the assault weapon.’ [Who] needs an assault weapon?” Stallone is quoted as telling the Associated Press. “Like really, unless you’re carrying out an assault. He adds, “You can’t hunt with it… Who’s going to attack your house, a [expletive] army?” Stallone believes there should be more national focus on mental health care to help prevent mass shootings like the ones that have plagued America in recent years. He says, ”It’s unbelievably horrible, what’s happened. I think the biggest problem, seriously, is not so much guns. It

High-school freshman suspended for having a picture of a gun

DAILYCALLER.COM 3 Hours Ago High-school freshman suspended for having a picture of a gun by Eric Owens Yet another student has been suspended for having something that represents a gun but isn’t, actually, anything like a real gun. This time, Daniel McClaine, Jr., a freshman at Poston Butte High School in Tan Valley, Arizona, made the mistake of making a picture of a gun the desktop background on his school-issued computer. The picture shows an AK-47 lying on a flag, reports KNXV-TV. The gun isn’t his, McClaine assured the ABC affiliate in Phoenix. He found it on the Internet and liked it, partly because he is interested in serving in the military after graduation. A teacher reportedly ratted McClaine out after noticing the Soviet-era rifle on the computer. McClaine originally received a three-day suspension. After McClaine’s father contacted the local press, Florence Unified School District officials suddenly decided that the younger McClaine could return to school on Mon

ADAM CAROLLA SLAMS GUN CONTROL ADVOCATES FOR IGNORING CHICAGO'S SANDY HOOK-LEVEL GUN DEATHS

ADAM CAROLLA SLAMS GUN CONTROL ADVOCATES FOR IGNORING CHICAGO'S SANDY HOOK-LEVEL GUN DEATHS by CHRISTIAN TOTO 1 Feb 2013 73 POST A COMMENT Adam Carolla has a question for gun control advocates--why won't you raise your voice about the Sandy Hook-level of violence going on in Chicago, a city with significant gun laws already on the books? Carolla broached the subject during his latest podcast episode, saying it's essentially racist to raise a ruckus when kids from an affluent community are gunned down but stay silent as inner-city youth continue to die from gun-related crimes. You know, this whole Sandy Hook thing — in Chicago they basically have two Sandy Hooks a month worth of dead kids that we don’t really give a shit about because it’s inner-city kids and we don’t count them. It happens — when it happens to the white kids or it happens in the theater, then it’s a big deal. But it goes on every day in the inner city, and no one seems to care about it.... There’s a
