The War Against the Constitution and Christianity in the Age of Obama

CLASHDAILY.COM 5 Hours Ago The War Against the Constitution and Christianity in the Age of Obama by  Allan Erickson In truth, the war on Christianity started 2,000 years ago, and has been raging ever since.  It is escalating right now right here in  America. As I wrote in my book Jan. 31, 2010 (page 216): "From the moment Jesus proclaimed himself divine, preaching in the synagogue in Nazareth, people tried to kill him, and the message.  Read all about it in Luke 4:14-30." For centuries the enemies of Christ, the enemies of truth, have fought to silence the good news of God's love for all humankind.  Those wars were declared and fought by forces inside and outside the church for centuries. And today, one of the chief enemies of Christ is the President of the United States. Outlandish claim?  Consider the record: source – David Barton,  wallbuilders.com , titled, " The Most Biblically Hostile President i...

Proposed bill would fire federal employees who refuse to testify

PATRIOTUPDATE.COM 3 Hours Ago Proposed bill would fire federal employees who refuse to testify Alabama Republican Rep. Mo Brooks has introduced legislation that would fire any federal employee who refuses to answer questions or gives false testimony at a congressional hearing. The legislation was introduced in response to Lois Lerner, the IRS employee who revealed the agency's practice of targeting of tea party groups and subsequently declined to answer questions at congressional hearing on the issue, The Hill reported. The proposed bill would require the termination of "any federal employee who refuses to answer questions in a congressional hearing after being granted immunity," according to the report. If three-fourths of the congressional body to whom the testimony was given finds that a federal worker "willfully or knowingly gave false testimony" during a hearing, then that employee would be fired under the legislation. Proposed bill would fire federal empl...

AWESOME: London Imam unable to refute Robert Spencer's claims about Koran

THERIGHTSCOOP.COM 3 Hours Ago AWESOME: London Imam unable to refute Robert Spencer's claims about Koran Posted by   The Right Scoop  on June 23rd, 2013 in  Politics  | Robert Spencer was on the BBC Asian Public Radio this past Friday and at one point the host asked him to quote verses from the Koran or the Hadiths that he finds reprehensible. Robert quickly responded with several verses from the Koran and one from the Hadith. But what is hilarious about this is that when the host went to Imam to provide the proper 'context' for these verses, since he objected to them being out of context, he was unable to do so and when put on the spot he claimed that this is Robert Spencer's field. What? The host quickly responded to the Imam telling him that Islam was his field, but the Imam was unable to provide any context. Listen below to at least the first 6 minutes to hear the unprepared Imam. I let it run for a few more minutes so you could hear Robert smack down t...

Immigration And Customs Enforcement (ICE) Union Attacks Immigration Bill Amendment: Doesn’t Improve Law Enforcement

WEASELZIPPERS.US 3 Hours Ago Immigration And Customs Enforcement (ICE) Union Attacks Immigration Bill Amendment: Doesn't Improve Law Enforcement Via  Breitbart:  After Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN)  admitted  the amendment he and Sen. John Hoeven (R-ND) offered to the immigration bill will not improve immigration law enforcement, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) National Council president Chris Crane told Breitbart News he is shocked lawmakers would still want to pass the bill. "So that's the answer from U.S. Senators," Crane, an ICE agent and a former marine, told Breitbart News exclusively on Sunday morning. "They know the bill is bad but plan to pass it anyway? With billions of taxpayer dollars to be spent and the safety of the public on the line, Senators plan to pass the buck to the House with hopes they might fix it? Anti-enforcement special interests have succeeded in pressuring the Senate from doing what's best for America. This is why Ameri...

Meet the Zimmerman Trial Jurors

LEGALINSURRECTION.COM 2 Hours Ago Meet the Zimmerman Trial Jurors by  Andrew Branca We will continue our live coverage of the Zimmerman trial starting with Opening Statements tomorrow. As before, we will have live video and Twitter feeds all day, and an end of day wrap up. But before we get to that, let's take a look at the 6 jurors and 4 alternates selected, and what we know about them. It is a remarkable feature of American trials that from the first word of opening statements until the last word of closing arguments the jury seems hardly to exist. Barring start-of-day instructions and end-of-day admonishments from the judge, the jury sits as a silent observer of each side's arguments in the case. This seeming vacuum of their presence stands in sharp contrast to the intense scrutiny they received during jury selection prior to the trial proper, and the tense waiting upon their verdict once they have entered deliberations as the trial approaches it finale. The fact that in th...
