Obama’s Army Boosts Benefits for Gays, Cuts Funds for Wounded Vets

FRONTPAGE MAGAZINE 1 Day Ago Obama's Army Boosts Benefits for Gays, Cuts Funds for Wounded Vets by  Daniel Greenfield In the new culture war that the military has been retasked to fight, gay marriage is a much higher priority than wounded veterans.  As Allen West points out,  Obama Inc is cutting budgets for wounded veterans while putting its money into promoting gay marriage. Over the past two days there has been an interesting paradox emanating from the Pentagon, which no one is paying attention to. It seems that next month the US Military is opening up benefits and post housing privileges to same-sex couples. And those in same-sex relationships who are not married are being granted leave to travel to states where same-sex marriage is allowed, in order to get married and qualify to receive these benefits and privileges. On the other hand, Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) where our wounded warriors are assigned to recover from their horrific injuries, just a...

RNC votes to shut networks out of 2016 debate coverage

RNC votes to shut networks out of 2016 debate coverage August 16, 2013  by  Joe Saunders   1 Comment It's about damn time. The  Republican National Committee  voted Friday to boycott the liberal lions' dens of CNN and NBC for coverage of the  2016 GOP primary debates  over those networks' plans to broadcast biographical works about Democrat appointee-in-waiting  Hillary Clinton . According to a Fox News report , the party officials meeting in Boston made the decision unanimously. Citing a draft of the resolution obtained before the vote, Fox reported that the RNC described the projects – a miniseries on NBC starring Diane Lane, a documentary on CNN – as "political ads masked as unbiased entertainment." You think? Really, any network treatment of a likely presidential candidate is bound to be politically biased, with the party of the politician involved determining whether the treatment was favorable or unfavorable.  And it goes without saying...

Colorado Springs Police Protective Association Endorses Pro-Gun Candidate Herpin in the Senate District 11 Recall Election

NRAILA.ORG 17 Hours Ago Colorado Springs Police Protective Association Endorses Pro-Gun Candidate Herpin in the Senate District 11 Recall Election Earlier this week, the Colorado Springs Police Protective Association (PPA) endorsed Bernie Herpin in the Senate District 11 recall election on Tuesday, September 10. The Colorado Springs PPA represents a community of active and retired police officers in Colorado Springs. Since the Colorado Springs PPA is committed to improve public safety, it comes as little surprise that this organization has thrown its weight behind Bernie Herpin. Herpin's opponent, state Senator John Morse, undermines the mission and commitment of the Colorado Springs PPA. During the most recent legislative session, Senator Morse aggressively pursued legislation that targets law-abiding citizens and erodes your inherent right to self-defense, while ignoring legislation to increase safety and security in the Centennial State. When speaking about Morse's tenure i...

Piers Morgan Tells a Whopper

NRA-ILA NRA-ILA GRASSROOTS ALERT: Vol. 20, No. 32 08/16/2013 Piers Morgan Tells a Whopper If you have the misfortune to be familiar with Piers Morgan, the British former tabloid "reporter" and "talent judge" known on this side of the Atlantic as CNN's most overbearing gun control proselytizer, you won't be surprised at what he did on Tuesday. It began during an interview with military history expert A.W.R. Hawkins, as Morgan pushed his theory that more gun ownership leads to more crime. Hawkins disagreed, noting that Virginia had recently experienced a significant increase in gun ownership, followed by a significant decrease in violent crime. The insuffer...
