Recall Efforts Against Colorado's Gun Control Dems Gaining Steam

BREITBART.COM 2 Hours Ago Recall Efforts Against Colorado's Gun Control Dems Gaining Steam by  AWR Hawkins 12 May 2013, 10:19 AM PDT post a comment Other news outlets,  most recently Fox News , have picked up the story, and the attempt to recall state Senate president John Morse, Rep. Mike McLachlan, and Senators Angela Giron and Evie Hudak is gaining momentum fast. Morse drew the ire of 2nd Amendment supporters by pushing legislation that would have held "gun owners, [and] sellers and makers of assault-style rifles" liable for any misuse of those weapons.  Hudak brought  infamy upon herself  when she told a pro-gun rape victim that having a gun would not have helped her during her assault anyway. Hudak said, "[Your attacker] would have been able to get that gun from you, and possibly use it against you." Hudak has already been forced to apologize for these calloused statements. Recall efforts against Rep. Rhonda Fields are also ...

Dianne Feinstein Says Benghazi Hearing Was Really About Discrediting Hillary Clinton

THEBLAZE.COM 4 Hours Ago Dianne Feinstein Says Benghazi Hearing Was Really About Discrediting Hillary Clinton by  Mike S. Adams AP "I understand, Republicans have a grievance because this happened a month before the election" Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Sunday that the latest congressional hearing on Benghazi was really a way for Republicans to discredit former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "We've gone through all of this, now we're going through it again," Feinstein said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "My concern is, when Hillary Clinton's name is mentioned 32 times in a hearing, that a point of the hearing is to discredit the secretary of state who has very high popularity and may well be a candidate for president." Clinton was the head of the State Department during the Sept. 2012 terror attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. "I understand, Republi...

Islamic Jew-hatred: 'Mounting evidence' that Boston Jihad Bombers Slit Throats, Murdered 3 Jewish Boys

ATLAS SHRUGS 3 Hours Ago Islamic Jew-hatred: 'Mounting evidence' that Boston Jihad Bombers Slit Throats, Murdered 3 Jewish Boys by  Pamela Geller I have been posting on the unsolved triple murder of three young Jewish men (two devout) on September 11, 2011, the tenth anniversary of jihadi attack on American soil. When I first heard that the older jihad bomber, Tamerlan, knew him, it sickened me. The media called one of these Jewish victims the "bomber's only American friend." I knew better.  Beheading Jews on on September 11?  It had to be devout Muslims. Islamic Jew-hatred -- it's in the quran . Tamerlan was a devout Muslim who opposed the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. He read websites and literature claiming that the CIA was behind the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and that Jews controlled the world. I tried to hire a private investigator to look into the case, but no one would touch it. It was white hot and active. What took the po...

George Will on IRS Tea Party attacks: ‘How stupid do they think we are?’

DAILYCALLER.COM 2 Hours Ago George Will on IRS Tea Party attacks: 'How stupid do they think we are?' by  Jeff Poor Tweet "Mr. Hicks, when he was in Libya, said his jaw dropped at the explanation back here" George Will joined the chorus talking about  the prospect of impeachment  for President Barack Obama after last week's admission from the Internal Revenue Service that it had targeted groups with the phrases "tea party" or "patriot" in their tax-exempt applications for extra audits. On Sunday's broadcast of ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," Will said proposed a scenario wherein the Bush administration had targeted groups with the word "progressive" in their names and concluded the situation would be much different in terms of expressions of outrage. "Mr. Hicks, when he was in Libya, said his jaw dropped at the explanation back here," Will said. "This was a jaw-dropping moment. In respons...

Feinstein: It Was Obvious it Was a Terrorist Attack 'Minute it Happened'

NATIONAL REVIEW 25 Minutes Ago Feinstein: It Was Obvious it Was a Terrorist Attack 'Minute it Happened' by  Daniel Foster In what was mostly a standard defense of the Obama administration, Sen. Diane Feinstein (D., Calif.) did offer some candid criticism of the administration's slowness in recognizing the Benghazi attacks as acts of terrorism. "I think this is a cautious administration," Feinstein told  Meet the Press's  David Gregory. "But this is one instance where, you know, it was what it was. And you saw it. The minute you knew what happened, you knew it was a terrorist attack. And you knew these groups had camps all around the area." Earlier Feinstein had voiced her disapproval of the way the White House talking points were put together. "When you see a group going up with RPGS and weapons to break into one of our facilities, you can assume it's a terrorist attack," Feinstein said. "Unfortunately, the word extremist was used...

Blog: Obama picks felon as CT gun control advocacy 'character witness'

AMERICANTHINKER.COM 6 Hours Ago Blog: Obama picks felon as CT gun control advocacy 'character witness' by  Jack Kemp CT Carry of Connecticut ,  a gun rights group, finds that one of the Obama administration's photo-op parents of children who died at the Sandy Hook School is somewhat more familiar with portrait photos that include a set of numbers directly below his full facial and side profile images. Sitting next to Gabby Giffords and the president at a White House photo event was  Neil Heslin , the father of a boy shot at Newtown, Connecticut.  Heslin was clearly advocating for much stricter gun control laws, yet Richard Burgess, President of CT Carry, has a possible explanation in a press release: A felon with a  long rap sheet  of fraud, substance abuse and reckless behavior is the poster boy for background checks and gun bans. But not in the way he thinks he is... All of which means that Neil Heslin is not allowed per State and Federal law to pur...

Kansas Governor to go to battle with feds over 'sovereign will' of the people of Kansas

NATURAL NEWS 2 Hours Ago Kansas Governor to go to battle with feds over 'sovereign will' of the people of Kansas (NaturalNews) The governor of the state of Kansas has made it clear to the U.S. Justice Department and Attorney General Eric Holder he is not intimidated by the former's threats over the state's new law barring federal agents from enforcing unconstitutional gun laws. On April 26 Holder sent a letter to Gov. Sam Brownback, a former U.S. legislator, that Justice may go to court over the law if the state attempts to enforce it. Unfazed, Brownback replied that Kansans hold dear the right to keep and bear arms, as enumerated under the Bill of Rights' Second Amendment, and that they are attempting to protect Kansas state sovereignty. In addition to Brownback's reply, Secretary of State Kris Kobach, a former law professor who helped craft the legislation, said Holder was merely "blustering" over the issue. "The people of Kansas have clearly e...

Boston Bombers May Have Financed Terror Spree with Food Stamps

FRONTPAGE MAGAZINE 9 Hours Ago Boston Bombers May Have Financed Terror Spree with Food Stamps by  Daniel Greenfield Liberals have repeatedly blocked efforts to prevent food stamp fraud. The Tsarnaev clan, like so many Muslim immigrants, were abusing the system in a big way and  may have even financed their terror spree  using EBT transfers. A mountain of new welfare records shows numerous EBT card cash withdrawals made by the Tsarnaev family, but so far there is no information about how terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev and others may have spent the money. The EBT receipts were handed over by the state to the House Post Audit and Oversight Committee as part of its probe into the Russian family's $100,000-plus taxpayer-financed life in the Bay State. The committee met yesterday behind closed doors to review Medicaid and welfare awards. The purchases show specific stores, but not the items bought. But further details could be available to investigators. The committee's requ...
