Obama’s Conservative Cousin Running for Senate

PATRIOTUPDATE.COM 4 Hours Ago Obama's Conservative Cousin Running for Senate This is not your typical political dynasty-in-the-making: A second cousin to Barack Obama is considering a run for U.S. Senate, and he's a fire-breathing conservative. Milton Wolf, whose mother's cousin was also Obama's grandmother, is a Kansas radiologist who writes columns for The Washington Times and produced videos for The Daily Caller last year. Neither publication is known for its patience with the president, and Wolf fits right in with their politics. WashPost Grouses About 'Government By Recall' After Successful Ousting of Anti-Gun Dems

NEWS BUSTERS 5 Hours Ago WashPost Grouses About 'Government By Recall' After Successful Ousting of Anti-Gun Dems by  Ken Shepherd The liberal Washington Post editorial board is no fan of recall elections. They opposed the effort to unseat Scott Walker and they similarly don't care much for the successful effort in Colorado this past Tuesday to recall two anti-gun Democratic state senators. Following both recall elections, the Post issued op-eds expressing their objection to recalls. But this time around the editorial board was more adamant about the evils of the recall, insisting that "[s]tates should examine their laws with an eye toward heightening the barriers" to tossing elected officials out before their terms expire. "Recalls are rare, but their use is on the rise," the editorial board whined in their September 13 piece, "Government by recall."  One culprit, the Post carped, was "nationalization of local issues, which prompts huge f

Rebels behead Assad's thugs in front of children

Beheaded in front of children, Assad's thugs are dragged to their doom and butchered like animals in some of the most brutal scenes to emerge from Syria's civil war By  NICK ENOCH PUBLISHED:  13:23 EST, 13 September 2013  |  UPDATED:  14:30 EST, 13 September 2013 2,727  shares 265 View  comments The sword rests briefly on his neck as a blindfolded man kneels under a clear blue sky. Moments later, the executioner raises his right arm, slashes downwards and the prisoner is dead. The whole barbaric episode is watched by a crowd of jeering men, many of them armed.  And sitting on a low wall only a few feet from where the wretched captive died so violently is a line of young boys. They were still there as the dead man's head was dumped on his body. Another child, even younger, was led by the hand past the corpse. Federal Court Rules ‘In God We Trust’ Will Remain on Coins and Currency

PJMEDIA.COM 2 Hours Ago Federal Court Rules 'In God We Trust' Will Remain on Coins and Currency by  Myra Adams Lost in a busy news week dominated by Syria, Putin, Obama's bungling, and the 9/11 anniversary, was an important federal court ruling on September 10, resulting in a victory so that the motto, "In God We Trust" can remain on all U.S. currency. The  Associated Press  reported: A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit seeking removal of the words "In God We Trust" from U.S. coins and currency. Atheist groups and individuals argued that the national motto conveys a religious message that violates separation of church and state and puts them in a position of spreading a religious message when they engage in commerce. In dismissing the suit, U.S. District Judge Harold Baer, Jr., wrote that "the Supreme Court has repeatedly assumed the motto's secular purpose and effect" and that federal appeals courts "have found no constitutional

Via  The Blaze: A Texas man's pregnant wife made it clear she was against having a firearm in their house. However, the husband insisted she learn how to use a gun to protect herself just in case. GOP and The Tea Party

Friday, September 13th  The GOP & The Tea Party A new poll from Wall Street Journal/NBC News finds that the Republicans are gaining ground on the issues of the economy, foreign policy and the federal deficit, earning higher ratings than Democrats. The GOP is gaining favor ability among independents in particular. But there's another interesting poll released by Pew Research this week which found that 71% of Tea Partiers disapprove of GOP leadership. So what is happening here?
