PM's Open Letter to Citizens: Full Text

ISRAELNATIONAL NEWS 7 Hours Ago PM's Open Letter to Citizens: Full Text by  Gil Ronen Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu took the rare step Saturday evening of publishing a long missive to the Israeli public. In it, he explains why he has agreed to release 104 terrorists as a "gesture" accompanying "peace talks" with the Palestinian Authority (PA). He also states that the talks need to last at least nine months. Netanyahu rarely addresses the public in long texts such as these. It may be that he is doing so because he is aware that there is widespread dissatisfaction with the planned release of terrorists, and that the Israeli public no longer believes promises that talks with the PA can lead to peace. This is the text of the letter: "Prime ministers are occasionally required to make decisions that are contrary to public opinion, when the matter is one of importance to the state. "There is no need for prime ministers in order to make decisions that enj

Ohio Based Gun Rights Group Raises Over $12,000 for Zimmerman to Buy Guns, Security

GUNSSAVELIVES.NET 7 Hours Ago Ohio Based Gun Rights Group Raises Over $12,000 for Zimmerman to Buy Guns, Security The Buckeye Firearms Foundation, one of the largest gun rights groups in Ohio, has raised over $12,000 for George Zimmerman to purchase new firearms, security, or for legal costs. The gun rights group started the drive earlier this week and quickly got to the $12,000 mark, despite a cyber attack that took their website offline. George Zimmerman was supposed to get the Kel Tec PF9 9mm handgun that killed Trayvon Martin back following his acquittal in a murder trial, but the US Justice Department seized the gun as well as other evidence from the trial as part of a civil rights investigation. According to  Fox News Latino , there are a variety of ways the funds, expected to be delivered to Zimmerman next week, could be spent, Zimmerman's spokesman, Shawn Vincent, said before his acquittal all donations he received were deposited into a fund dedicated to pay for his legal

Benghazi: The Scandal That Won’t Go Away

THE FOUNDRY 9 Hours Ago Benghazi: The Scandal That Won't Go Away by  Helle Dale Helle Dale July 27, 2013 at 7:00 am AFP PHOTOSTR/AFP/GettyImages/Newscom Rumors of the disappearance of the Benghazi scandal are vastly premature. This week, Special Forces  veterans  gathered on Capitol Hill to unveil a 60-foot scroll of signatures demanding a discharge petition for legislation authorizing a House select committee to investigate Benghazi. In April, appearing before the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Secretary of State John Kerry  promised to clear the air and make survivors of Benghazi available for congressional questioning. Though a few have bravely come forward (at the peril of professional retaliation, one might add), little firsthand testimony of the attack has come out. Members of Congress have charged that State Department and CIA  witnesses continue to be intimidated and warned against testifying, resulting in the postponement of two hearings planned for last week. Four basi

Weiner’s a Problem but Huma Abedin is a Bigger Problem

POLITICALOUTCAST.COM 6 Hours Ago Weiner's a Problem but Huma Abedin is a Bigger Problem by  Marilyn Assenheim On Thursday, Huma Abedin had been flogged across the airwaves by the MSM as being "intelligent," "delicate," "brave" and was lauded for "standing by her man." The degenerate Anthony Weiner had "made a mistake." Several, actually. Why the deafening cacophony of praise? Because Abedin and the State Department are under Senate investigation and MSM is trying to deflect damaging public scrutiny of Abedin/Hillary/State Department wrongdoing. If the investigation sinks Abedin, it might also derail a potential presidential run by Hillary Clinton in 2016. Abedin and Hillary are indiscrete in more ways than one. According to  FOX News  "Abedin is facing her own troubles — less salacious than her husband's, but potentially more severe." Abedin was Hillary Clinton's deputy chief of staff at the State Department. The

Dear President Obama, the Loss of Glen Doherty’s Life is Not a Fake Scandal, America Doesn’t Take it Lightly

JOEMILLER.US 8 Hours Ago Dear President Obama, the Loss of Glen Doherty's Life is Not a Fake Scandal, America Doesn't Take it Lightly by  Ed Farnan Photo Credit: Irish Central The President referred to scandals that are plaguing his administration as "fake scandals" in his speech the other day … as if by denigrating them they will lose their gravity and importance. But many Americans are incensed by the cuffing aside by the President, to what they believe are attacks on the very foundation of what our country stands for. Using powerful and feared tools of the government to attack political opponents is a gross abuse of power by the executive branch. As each day rolls by, it is becoming evident the IRS was unleashed on groups and individuals that politically oppose the President. Evidence so far goes right up to the White House's political appointees having full knowledge of this abuse. The wiretapping and snooping of email accounts by the Justice Department of me

ABC News Must Release Full, Unedited Interview with Zimmerman Juror

BREITBART.COM 13 Minutes Ago ABC News Must Release Full, Unedited Interview with Zimmerman Juror by  John Nolte by  John Nolte  27 Jul 2013, 6:57 AM PDT  post a comment Juror B29, or Maddy, made big news this week after her "Good Morning America" interview with Robin Roberts went viral. ABC News and the rest of the media loved that she declared Zimmerman a murderer, that she was the only minority juror, and that they could insinuate she had been bullied by five white jurors into an acquittal verdict. The only problem, though, is that the editing of the interview appears to be too cute by half: William Saletan at Slate points out that the unedited interview seems to show something different. Maddy actually hesitates twice when answering Roberts' question which contains the statement "George Zimmerman got away with murder." As Saletan points out "she looks as though she's trying to reconcile the sentiment that's been quoted to her—that Zimmerman '

San Antonio Ordinance Could Prevent Christians From Holding City Jobs

MINUTEMENNEWS.COM 5 Hours Ago San Antonio Ordinance Could Prevent Christians From Holding City Jobs The San Antonio City Council is about to adopt an  ordinance  that could get any Christian arrested for preaching the Bible or sharing their faith. They are looking at passing some nondiscrimination ordinances that would make it a crime to exhibit or express any form of bias that could offend someone. The proposed ordinance says: "No person shall be appointed to a position if the city council finds that such person has, prior to such proposed appointment, engaged in discrimination or demonstrated a bias, by word or deed, against any person, group or organization on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, age, or disability." Anyone found guilty of violating the new ordinance would be given a lifetime ban from being able to hold a city job, being involved with city government or even doing business with the

Charles Payne: Obama Would Love to See Civil Unrest in US Like Arab Spring (Video)

THEGATEWAYPUNDIT.COM 5 Hours Ago Charles Payne: Obama Would Love to See Civil Unrest in US Like Arab Spring (Video) by  Jim Hoft FOX News contributor  Charles Payne  went off on Barack Obama after his rambling 80 minute speech this week that was supposed to be on the "economy" but diverged into wealth inequality in America. Payne said,  "I think President Obama would love to see civil unrest in this country very much like the Arab Spring."  Via  Saving the Republic : Doug Ross  has the transcript: Stuart Varney:  Obama used the term "inequality" more than he used the word "growth". And this is a problem, according to Charles Payne. Charles Payne:  It is a problem. He talked about [income inequality] being morally wrong. You know, Stuart, if you and I entered this building and there were different rules for each of us, that would be morally wrong. But if I dropped out of high school and smoked weed all day and you worked your way through college

Paul Ryan faces immigration questions in townhall meeting

HOTAIR.COM 5 Hours Ago Paul Ryan faces immigration questions in townhall meeting by  Bruce McQuain posted at 11:31 am on July 27, 2013 by Bruce McQuain Former Republican Vice Presidential nominee and WI  Congressman Paul Ryan faced a group of immigration activists , immigrants and children of illegal immigrants in a townhall meeting in Racine, WI. He seemed to stress that this isn't about immigration per se, but instead addressing illegal immigration, the activity that so many on the left would like to excuse and reward: "Immigration is a good thing for this country. It  is  this country," Ryan told more than 300 people who attended the town hall meeting at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Absolutely. We are indeed a nation of immigrants, including those who now like to call themselves Native Americans. Immigrants have built this nation, have added to its rich heritage and have proven that a "melting pot" can indeed produce a vibrant nation that is a world le
