According to the poll, 46% of Americans oppose any new gun laws and 46% support enacting new gun laws. The support for additional gun control is down from a high of 52% earlier this year. Most people polled agreed that current gun laws needed better enforcement. The survey of 1,000 Adults was conducted on August 4-5, 2013 by Rasmussen Reports.
