He was shot while riding a bike about 11:45 p.m. Saturday, police said; he tried to flee but collapsed a short distance from where he was hit. He was pronounced dead at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center at 1:37 a.m. with gunshot wounds to the left arm and back, police said, and later identified as Kevin Rivera of the 1500 block of North Keystone Avenue.
