Dr. Paul Testifies in Support of Restoring Voting Rights in Kentucky On Wednesday, I appeared in front of the Kentucky Senate State & Local Government Committee to testify in support of restoring the right to vote for many non-violent ex-offenders in Kentucky after they have completed their sentences. The right to vote is among the most important rights we have and I told the committee that one mistake in life shouldn't permanently block a citizen's access to the ballot box. The committee approved a version of House Bill 70, a proposed constitutional amendment that would restore the right to vote in Kentucky for many non-violent felons who have completed their sentences.     Tennessee: Pro-Hunting Bill Approved by Senate Committee; House Bill Scheduled for Committee Hearing On Wednesday,  Senate Bill 1777  was approved unanimously in the Tennessee Senate Energy, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and referred to the Senate Calendar Committee.  Sponsored by state Senator Mike Bell (R-9), SB 1777 would amend Tennessee’s current hunter harassment laws by prohibiting anti-hunting radicals from using drones to interfere with those lawfully hunting or fishing.  When in the field, safety is a sportsman’s primary concern.  The use of drones by anti-hunting extremists, with the express intention of spooking wildlife or catching a hunter off-guard, is extremely dangerous and could potentially result in injury.
