Good News: Patriot Annual Fund Midyear Report

Since our inception back in 1996, we have tirelessly defended Essential Liberty with a very limited budget and an editorial and technical staff who are overworked and underpaid. However, our team is mission driven, and you will find no more dedicated group of Patriots anywhere. Our mission and operations budget have not changed much in the last few years, but making budget certainly has. As with any business in a stalled economy, we have put off major expenses, including technology improvements and hiring additional staff. We have also redoubled our efforts to make budget. Thank you for tolerating our appeals. We are truly humbled by the response of our Patriot countrymen to our 2011 Independence Day Campaign, and we're pleased to report that we have met our midyear campaign goal. Your generous support ensures that The Patriot Post's timeless advocacy for Essential Liberty, the restoration of constitutional limits on government and the judiciary, and the promotion of free enterprise, national defense and traditional American values, is distributed to an ever-wider array of conservative grassroots activists. We were deeply moved in this campaign to hear from so many of you who have suffered economic hardship, and especially by those who went so far as to apologize for not being able to support us. Please know that we are honored to be of service to each and every one of you and proud to count you among our ranks. More humbling yet were the number of letters we received from those of you who have very limited resources but supported us anyway. Each one of those small gifts was bigger than you can imagine, and evocative of the widow's mite in Luke 21:2.
