Great Question -- Glad You Asked!

The Patriot Post

Fellow Patriots,

Predictably, in the closing months of each year I receive some complaints asking, "You told me it was free, so why are you requesting support?"

By way of answering that question, let me share an email I received this morning:

"Mr. Alexander, Just a note of thanks for all that your Patriot team does to promote Liberty. It does my heart good to know that there are those among the generations that follow mine, who are steadfast in their devotion to Liberty, and to sustaining it for the generations to come. Though I do what I can to promote The Patriot Post, please forgive my small donation. I would like to do more, but I am an old beat up Marine GySgt, and can barely make ends meet now. Semper Fi! Mitch"

Patriots, if you are active duty or reserve military, a student or a citizen with limited income, please allow us to provide The Patriot Post as a service to you without obligation. As we can't determine your status from your email address, our support requests go to everyone. Please disregard those requests and know that it is a privilege and honor to count you among our ranks.

If you are not among those listed above, and if you are able, please do support our 2011 Year-End Campaign today.

I ask for your support first, because there is no more effective and cost-efficient method to promote the Essential Liberty message to millions of Americans across our great nation, and to keep the flame of Liberty burning bright!

Second, I ask for support in order that we can continue to provide The Patriot Post, free of charge, to our Armed Forces readers, students, those in the mission field and Patriots of any age with limited resources, like Gunny Sergeant Mitch. Thank you for supporting them!

Freedom is not free, and neither is publishing. Your Patriot Post team of editors and staff depend entirely on the voluntary financial support of Patriots like YOU for our operations budget. We are not sustained by any political, special interest or parent organization, and we do not accept advertising.

Thank you!

Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis!
Libertas aut Mortis!

Mark Alexander

Senators now have two days to read and digest it before a Wednesday vote. Sen.
