Gun-Free Zone: Shooting Reported at Atlanta Middle School

Scant details are available at this time. What is known is that the shooter was another student--a male--who is now in custody.
The shooting victim has been transported to a hospital, and was alert and conscious when medical personnel arrived on the scene.
This is yet another shooting in a gun-free zone. Add it to a growing list of shootings where guns have been banned that includes Lone Star College, the Martin Luther King Jr. parade route in New Orleans, Sandy Hook, the Aurora theater, and Virginia Tech.
