Four people have been taken into custody in connection with a Wednesday morning home invasion north of Nashville after a neighbor notified police.
Lorenzo Vaughn, 20, of Packard Drive, and Shannon Birdsong, 18, of Ocoee Trail, and two juveniles are being charged with aggravated robbery after an incident in the 5100 block of Ryan Allen Circle, according to police.
Three of the robbers, two of whom were masked, knocked on the door of a residence. When a 10-year-old boy answered the door, one of the robbers pulled a pistol on the child, covering his mouth and forcing him into a closet, police said.
The child’s mother and siblings were upstairs and did not hear the commotion, police said. The robbers took an iPod and attempted to take a television.
As the robbers fled, a neighbor noticed one of them had a gun and notified police.
