I spoke to this Trooper today at the Washington County Justice Center. This was a sobering event for anyone in law enforcement and to the motoring public. This Trooper was in the right place at the right time. Lots of shots were fired back and forth, and thank God this officer was not hit. To the motoring public,(how this all started), beware of people on the hiways- DON'T stop if you suspect anything. Use your cell phone if in doubt.
