Longer Lines, Shorter Hours?
Barack Obama and the Democrats have you believing that the world is going to come to an end this Friday if we let sequestration cuts go into effect and cut less than 3% from our budget this year. They've told us that kids won't be able to get daycare, criminals will be set free and you will experience longer lines at the airport. Take a look at the doomsday effect laid out by the New York Times.

For all of the concern about cutting 2.3% of federal spending, how about the laws already in place that will have more drastic effects on our economy. Take for instance, ObamaCare. Where is the New York Times outrage over the latest reports that Florida has a shortage of doctors to handle the oncoming changes associated with ObamaCare? Longer lines at the doctors office could be inevitable as millions more are forced into the system, while doctors are bailing out. While the New York Times is worried about Customs agents working fewer hours, what about the employees around the country whose hours are being cut in order to comply with the ObamaCare threshold of 30 hours per week qualifying as full-time?

There are already laws on the books, which are causing great economic damage and have the potential to affect our lives much more than the sequester.

Gohmert and Huelskamp Discuss Sequester Cuts
Congressmen Louie Gohmert and Tim Huelskamp joined Sean to discuss the elements of the automatic spending cuts slated to begin March 1st. The cuts, known in Washington as "the sequester" were designed to be so severe that they'd force lawmakers to reach a budget deal. "That was originally Obama's idea," Rep. Gohmert said. "He's the one that proposed that idea. I was totally against the sequestration in July, a year and a half ago." Gohmert said he now believes letting the cuts take effect might be the best way to fix the budget--without bringing the dire consequences the president is predicting. "We can't get people to just make cuts like we should make," Gohmert said. "And in fact most of these cuts are actually to growth. So they're not what some of us would consider real cuts." Both Congressmen talked about the need for unification among the house Republicans and the party overall. Huelskamp and Gohmert both want to reviv e the conversation about the continued resolution. This would provide a slew of alternatives, and could stop the "sky is falling" conversation that the President and his henchman want to perpetrate. Huelskamp and Gohmert are considered Tea Party conservatives and are not only at odds with the President and his administration but their more liberal counterparts within the GOP. Both of these Congressmen have spoken out against their own ilk who seem to think it's ok to vote alongside their Democratic colleagues.
Outrageous Statement of the Day: Gibbs
Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, lifted the curtain a little bit to provide us some insight into the Obama administration. In discussing the process of becoming press secretary for Barack Obama, Gibbs told MSNBC: "When I went through the process of becoming press secretary, one of the first things they told me was, "You're not even to acknowledge the drone program. You're not even to discuss that it exists ' I would get a question like that and literally I couldn't tell you what Major [Garrett] asked, because once I figured out it was about the drone program, I realize I'm not supposed to talk about it." That is what we've come to expect from the administration that once claimed it would be the most transparent in history. It is actually instructing its press puppet to literally ignore questions on certain issues, pretending that they don't even exist. How's THAT for transparency?

Today's "Hot Topic" On The Hannity Forums:
Time to upset both those on the right and the left - snow96

I've been thinking about this for a while, and here would be my proposals. This is kind of an all or none, because it's really hard to break this apart and only have certain points. Let me start off first by saying NO this probably wouldn't have prevented Sandy Hook. NO this probably wouldn't have prevented the Colorado movie theater shooting.
