CO Rep. Rhonda Fields has sponsored four gun control bills that would ban magazines with capacities greater than 15, mandate background checks for private sales, tax gun ownership and ban concealed-carry on campus, and that’s totally her mugshot.

Yep, these bills are criminal-endorsed!

Fields has multiple arrests for shoplifting and larceny (.pdf) and is also identified by the names Rhonda Charlotte Woods, Rhonda Chollet Combs, Carolyn Ann Fields, Rhonda Marshall Fields and just Marshall.

In her defense, she did not hide her history when running for election. “It’s a very embarrassing dark, desperate time in my life. I disclosed it when I decided to run, but it’s something I don’t like to talk about,” said Fields. “It’s something I’m not proud of. It happened over 20 years ago. I had to leave a husband who was addicted to drugs. I stole food to feed my kids. I’m so glad I’m not the woman I was back then.”
