Gun Control? Boone County Indiana Sheriff Ken Campbell High Capacity Magazines Video

Gun Control? Boone County Indiana Sheriff Ken Campbell High Capacity Magazines Video

Indiana Sheriff Ken Campbell gives a firing range demonstration on the use of various size gun magazines along with a revolver demo. Want to see how banning high capacity magazines will have no effect? Then watch the video.

“I think it’s a great fallacy to believe that it would. You’ve got a standard capacity versus a 10-round. From a citizen standpoint all we’re doing is making it more difficult for people to defend themselves against bad guys.”

Sheriff Campbell made a few comments concerning Vice President Joe Biden’s statements on using a shotgun, he called the VP statement “simply silly.”

The beginning has a series of statistics, think about those as they appear on the screen.  The Sheriff shows how smaller capacity magazines can be utilized just as effectively as higher capacity ones.

The Sheriff noted that criminals are not likely to abide by any regulation concerning magazine size, just as they will not abide by laws that prohibit weapons.

Sheriff Ken Campbell commented on the U.S. Constitution and how it has “stood its test” for more than 200 years and, if it is “left alone” and followed, can do a great job for 200 more.
The video is about 13 minutes long, but well worth the view. Pay special attention to the segment where ther objective is to disarm the shooter during a reload,,, eye opener!

The 30-second spot by Mayors Against Illegal Guns will air in the Washington area during the game between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers. The ad calls on lawmakers to pass rules requiring background checks on guns. It is narrated by children, with “America the Beautiful” playing in the background. It includes decades-old footage of National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre saying the gun lobby group approves of the checks. LaPierre recently testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee that the NRA no longer supports background checks for all gun sales. A Bloomsberg spokesman would say only that the ad cost in the six-figure range....
