One of John Kerry's first acts as Secretary of State is to follow through with yet another gift to the radical regime now running Egypt. Egypt's leadership under the Muslim Brotherhood - a terrorist organization -- will be the recipient of $250 million in foreign aid, part of a deal promised by the Obama administration in 2011. The aid announced Sunday consists of two parts. One is a $190 million infusion for Egypt's budget intended to address what Mr. Kerry said was the country's "extreme needs." That assistance has already been approved by Congress. Mr. Kerry also pledged $60 million for the creation of a fund to support small businesses, which will provide "direct support to key engines of democratic change in Egypt, including Egypt's entrepreneurs and its young people." Why the Obama administration insists on following through with this aid is beyond me. How can we be sure that this money will even be used to support small businesses? I suppose we are to trust Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, who once referred to the Israeli people as "the descendents of apes and pigs, war mongers and blood-suckers." It's a little difficult to believe that rational reforms will be made in the interest of the Egyptian people by a man who believes Israelis - our closest allies in the region -- are the descendents of apes and pigs. That's not exactly rational. I think we're still being played for suckers here. Immigration Wars Former Governor Jeb Bush joined Sean in the show's second hour to discuss his new book, "Immigration Wars: Forging an American Solution." The immigration debate has challenged our nation since its founding. But today, it divides Americans more stridently than ever, due to a chronic failure of national leadership by both parties. Here at last is an attainable resolution guided by two core principles: first, immigration is vital to America's future; second, any enduring resolution must adhere to the rule of law. Unfortunately, current laws are so cumbersome and irrational that millions have circumvented them and entered the United States illegally, taxing our system to the breaking point. Bush contends that there are other unique factors in play as well. "America's future population expansion will come solely from immigrants. And for the first time, the U.S. must compete with other countries for immigrant workers and their skills," said Bu sh. For more on "Immigration Wars" please click here. Make sure not to miss Sean's interview with Jeb Bush tonight on "Hannity" at 9pm ET on the FoxNews Channel. |
Outrageous Statement of the Day: Farrakhan The radical Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan is back in the news after making controversial statements over the weekend. Speaking at a church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Farrakhan was quoted as saying that white Americans are worried about losing their majority status in America by 2050. He says that this fear is the reason why they've introduced birth control to black women "because they don't want no more black babies." Outrageous statements like this are nothing new from the racist, anti-semite Farrakhan. This is the man who, among many controversial statements, claims that the CIA is responsible for the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11. Just last week on Hannity I exposed the past connections between Louis Farrakhan and Democrat Congressman Keith Ellison. Today's "Hot Topic" On The Hannity Forums: I survived the weekend - dashvinny I was afraid that monday wouldn't come due to the sequester. i have to admit i was shocked to wake up and realize i had to trudge to work yet again. lets hope the republicans can start replaying all the quotes from obamas fear mongers and get on the offensive for once. >> TV Tonight (Hannity FoxNews at 9pm ET): From border security to residency status, Jeb Bush lays out his immigration plan and previews his new book! |
