Texas Gun Law Nullification Bills up for Committee Hearing

Texas HB553, The Second Amendment Preservation Act, would nullify federal gun laws within the state. It needs your support right now to move forward!
The bill has been assigned to the House Select Committee on Federalism and Fiscal Responsibility. This bill is scheduled for a hearing at the Select Committee on Federalism and Fiscal Responsibility on the 13th of March at 2pm. Your CALLS and EMAILS are needed right now to help this bill move forward.
The Tenth Amendment Center requests your immediate help by contacting committee members to express your support for this legislation. We urge you to CALL and EMAIL.
Strongly, but politely, inform your representative that you are concerned with federal infringements on the right to bear arms. Respectfully, any vote other than yes is not acceptable. HB553 can be viewed here.
A great companion bill is HB928. This bill requires state and local noncompliance with, as it seems, every federal law, rule, regulation, etc on firearms, accessories and ammunition. This bill is in the same select committee so please mention HB928 along with HB553.

1. Contact the Committee Chairman. Politely thank him for the hearing and encourage him to follow through with a YES vote on both bills.

Asserting sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and beseeching the federal government to immediately cease and desist from the promulgation of mandates that infringe on the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms or that are otherwise beyond the scope of its constitutionally delegated powers.
4. Encourage your local community to take action as well. Present the 2nd Amendment Preservation Act to your city county, your town council, or your county commissioners. Various local governments around the country are already passing similar resolutions and ordinances. Local legislative action present a great way to strengthen a statewide campaign against 2nd Amendment violations
