The Truth About Gun Control
As our readers are aware,Intellihub.com has covered the ongoing coordinatedmainstream media propaganda over Gun Control resulting from an event commonly known as 'Sandy Hook'. Speaking of Sandy Hook, where are the official results from the investigation that was initiated by Connecticut Governor Malloy?
WASHINGTON, DC – (L-R) Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin, National Governors Association (NGA) Vice Chair Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, and NGA Chair Delaware Governor Jack Markell listen as they speak to members of the press as NGA Vice Chair Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin looks on after a State Dining Room meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House February 25, 2013 in Washington, DC. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal posted March 21, 2013, 9:30 p.m. ET
Connecticut's chief state's attorney by March 29 will release new information regarding the investigation of the deadly shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Gov. Dannel Malloy announced Thursday.
Having reported on the highly controversial step of sealing evidence from the case, the 90 day period has elapsed and yet there is no official report as of yet.
Incidentally, one of the most glaring anomalies of the reporting of Sandy Hook was the absence of any video surveillance footage and images of the interior of the school, which according to accounts, was shot up with hundreds of rounds by a crazed gunman – assuming he actually existed in the first place.
On the existence of Adam Lanza, it is believed that the parents of Adam Lanza only had one child, and that was Ryan Lanza and official records reflect that fact. Incidentally, that explains why all media outlets tracked down Ryan Lanza as the owner of the car at the school and was also the only official child of record of the Lanza's.
More on those details in a later report that intellihub.com is working on with other researchers currently.
We have witnessed over the past few months an historic attack not only on law abiding citizens owning firearms, but all kinds of rhetoric being targeted at anyone who considers self-defense a god given right – protected by the 2nd Amendment in the US Bill of Rights.
A scholarly analysis of the 2nd Amendment and Gun Control is now available at The CATO Institute. The title of the publication is The Truth About Gun Control. While not endorsing the views of the author, David B. Kopel, it merits reading and one could benefit by taking a look at the information product that many in government use as a reference on important issues.
An excerpt from the book description reads:
Who is sovereign in the United States? Is it the People themselves, or is it an elite group determined to rule citizens whom they see as incapable of making choices about their own lives? This is the central question of the American gun-control debate. (Emphasis added)
In The Truth About Gun Control, David B.Kopel, associate policy analyst at the Cato Institute, explains why the right to keep and bear arms has always been central to the American identity—and why Americans have always resisted gun control.
Gun control is not an issue of left vs. right, or urban vs. rural. The right to bear arms is crucial to prevent large-scale tyranny by criminal governments and small-scale tyranny by ordinary criminals—and to protect our Constitution.

Sharply focused and rigorously researched, False Idol: Barack Obama and the Continuing Cult of the Presidency is a highly compelling examination of both the Obama administration and our fixation on the fable of being led, comforted, and delivered by a presidential savior. If the Obama presidency has infuriated, frustrated, and disappointed many Americans, argues Healy, perhaps that's due in great part to how we've embraced a warped notion of the presidency itself.
