IRS Scandal Hearing
Today the House Ways and Means Committee held its first hearing on the IRS scandal which broke just a week ago. Two people testified before the committee: Steven Miller, the out-going IRS commissioner, and J . Russell George, the Treasury Inspector General. Visit Hannity.com for some of the highlights from the week. The real important question here is who made the decision not to disclose this scandal before the election and why? Well until we have an answer to that question, all we can do is assume: Was it for political purposes to make sure that Barack Obama's re-election wasn't hampered by a scandal?

Scandals Continue!
On top of all the IRS scandal, we learned late yesterday that the very woman who was in charge of tax-exempt organizations at the time of this targeting - Sarah Hall Ingram - is now in charge of the IRS' Affordable Care Act office. In other words, the woman in charge of the office engaged in this conservative targeting is now overseeing the implementation of ObamaCare within the IRS! You can't make this stuff up. It's truly unbelievable, yet from everything we heard today in the hearing, the IRS actions were "inappropriate" but not "illegal." Good grief. If you've missed my coverage of the IRS scandal, you can catch up on it here.
Speaker Gingrich
I sat down last night with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich to discuss his thoughts on the Benghazi scandals and, as always, he brought his unique style to the conversation. "These scandals aren't about Barack Obama as a person, this is not a personality defect," explained Speaker Gingrich, "This is the nature of large bureaucracies, this is the nature of big government doing dangerous things." As the Speaker mentioned, this is why I've spent my entire career fighting the growth of government and now, as we look to the launch of Obama Care, we need to be as vigilant as ever to the growing presence in Washington. We Already Have Enough Proof to Impeach - Posted by Minuteman09
We already have enough PROOF to IMPEACH Obama, because it was Obama's JOB to keep the IRS from VIOLATING the Civil Rights of Conservatives, and he FAILED to do that. Everyone already KNOWS that If Bush had done this, the Democrats and their Democrats media would already be calling for Impeachment, and they would be CORRECT in doing so. The Limbaugh theory that Obama is trying act like he is NOT responsible for anything that is going on, is UNCONSTITUTIONAL for Obama to do.

Charles Krauthammer weighs in with his thoughts on how this IRS scandal compares to Watergate.

Senators now have two days to read and digest it before a Wednesday vote. Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), the lead GOP negotiator, said the bill contains all the most vital reforms Republicans have demanded and called it a "once-in-a-generation opportunity to close our open border." "The bill provides funding to build the wall, increase technology at the border, and add more detention beds, more agents, and more deportation flights. The border security bil
