Glenn Beck to Speak at Tea Party Patriots Rally on Wednesday

Beck told listeners to his radio program, "I will go and stand, and I ask you to do the same," confirming his appearance as a speaker. This marks the first time Beck has called on his audience to join him at a rally since his highly successful "Restoring Honor" rally held in August 2010.

Martin welcomed Beck's participation on Wednesday. "We are glad that Glenn Beck will join the Tea Party Patriots--and speakers from the US Senate, the US Congress and most importantly the American people who were targeted by the IRS."

The "Audit the IRS Rally" will be held on the West Lawn of the Capitol from noon until 2 PM on Wednesday. Martin said it "will be a day for Americans of all political stripes to tell the government and the IRS that they have become too big and too powerful--and the American people will no longer be silent while the government uses the tax code and the IRS as a weapon against American taxpayers."

Wednesday will be a busy day for Mr. Beck. Breitbart News reported earlier on Monday that he also will be speaking at Congressman Steve King's (R-IA) immigration event, which will begin on the East Lawn at 9 AM, break at noon so participants and attendees can join the Tea Party Patriot rally on the West Lawn, then resume at 2 PM and continue until 5 PM.
