More shot in Chicago than the conflict in Egypt?

We're all worried about what is going on overseas, but seem to turn a blind eye to our own backyard where liberalism is running rampant and to even be able to make a comparison to a possible civil war is ridiculous. The toughest gun laws in the land have made it so criminals run out of control. These need to be lessons learned for conservatives across our nation. Check it out:
In Chicago, 72 people were shot over the weekend, resulting in 12 fatalities. A total of 202 homicides have occurred this year alone in Chicago. This brings the murder total to 1,037, since Rahm Emanuel assumed the office of mayor in 2011.
