Nobody Wants ObamaCare
Nobody is begging for ObamaCare because of its amazing cost or coverage. The only people who are fervently pushing for ObamaCare are those seeking power and their names in the history books. Not only are the unions complaining about ObamaCare, but yesterday we learned that our own IRS Commissioner doesn't even want ObamaCare coverage. But the guy in charge of enforcing ObamaCare at the IRS isn't the only one who is upset about switching health insurance. Congressional staffers were so upset by the potential shift in their healthcare coverage that the president himself took on the challenge earlier this week of coming up with a solution. The result? Congressional staffers essentially get a waiver! While you average Americans will be forced to deal with any of the potential fallout from shifting to ObamaCare, staffers on Capitol Hill won't have to worry about their own healthcare costs rising... more

Not So Phony After All
The only thing phony in the news lately is the idea that our economy is actually recovering. Today the Labor Department released its latest jobs report showing that the unemployment rate fell to 7.4%. This will likely be touted as good news by many who are trying desperately to spin liberal policies as effective. But the truth is that the labor force participation rate has fallen again and the number of part-time workers continues to rise. The real unemployment rate, including those who are underemployed in this economy, is actually 14%. If the Obama administration wanted to be honest in its use of the "phony" label, it would start with its pathetic excuse for an economic recovery... more
Al-Qaida Terror Threats
Early today the State Department issued a worldwide travel alert because of the threat of terrorist attacks from al-Qaida. "Current information suggests that al-Qaida and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August," the department said in a statement. Yesterday, the State Department said it would close at least 18 diplomatic posts in the Middle East and surrounding areas because of the threats. This morning it confirmed it would close 21 posts in the region. You would hope that the Obama administration learned from the tragedy in Benghazi and are attempting to prevent such an attack from happening again. Today's "Hot Topic" On The Hannity Forums:
Is President Obama a socialist or a corporate stooge? - alanturing

This is something that GOP has been increasingly doing and it seems really bizarre to me; sometimes they like to paint Obama as a socialist / marxist and what not, and sometimes they decide to attack him as a corporate stooge of the 1%. These two lines of attack are hugely contradictory, so which is it republicans? Is obama a corporate stooge of the 1% or is he a socialist marxist enemy of the ownership class (the 1%)?

Follow us on Twitter View this as website BY JAMIE MCINTYRE ADVERTISEMENT FROM 'CATCH AND RELEASE' TO 'DETAIN AND DEPORT': After months of hard-nosed negotiation behind closed doors in the Senate, the text of a compromise $118 billion national security supplemental budget bill, which includes major concessions from the Democrats on border security and desperately needed aid for Ukraine, was released last night. Senators now have two days to read and digest it before a Wednesday vote. Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), the lead GOP negotiator, said the bill contains all the most vital reforms Republicans have demanded and called it a "once-in-a-generation opportunity to close our open border." "The bill provides funding to build the wall, increase technology at the border, and add more detention beds, more agents, and more deportation flights. The border security bil
