Outrageous: Political Terrorists
The extension of Obama's press office – MSNBC – hasn't taken too kindly to the idea of defunding Obama Care. Lapdog media member Chris Matthews went as far as to call Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Mike Lee “the political terrorists of the right.” He calls their strategy to defund Obama Care “terrorism: This is the first time I've seen a political party, or even a fraction of it, say that their number one goal is to shutdown the American government, kill a bill that's already been passed by congress, and refuse to pay bills already run up by congress in an attempt to basically risk default.” A few comments about Matthews' statement. First of all, even Matthews' guests including Obama advisor David Axelrod thought his comments went too far. I would obviously agree. Terrorists use violent means to pursue an agenda. I don't see punches being thrown, rockets being launched, windows being smashed in order to intimidate people into supporting their plan to defund Obama Care. I’d like to point out Matthews and others in the liberal media are doing exactly what the Obama Whit e House wants them to do: They want to make the American people believe that Republicans want a government shut down. Any honest person who has actually been paying attention will tell you that this is far from the case. In the same day Matthews called these Republicans political terrorists, you have contributors also comparing Cruz to the Taliban. It's amazing that people like Ted Cruz have only been in Washington for a few months and yet their commitment to conservative principles has managed to stir up so many on both the left and the right. Guess that means they must be doing something right or they would simply be ignored.

Quick Thought: Is There No Media Fairness?
You know, I was thinking today, that all of these sex scandals in the Democratic party have rendered Mitt Romney’s “binders” comment seemingly insignificant in comparison. I don’t hear the media asking about Bill Clinton, Spitzer, Weiner, Jim McGreavy or John Edwards. This is the selective moral outrage that is typical of the liberal media. As Anthony Weiner’s political career seems to be crashing to a halt, I think it’s important to demand fairness from our media.
August Recess
Washington's August recess is upon us, which means that members of Congress will return to their districts for a few weeks while the President jets off to Martha's Vineyard. Don't you wish you had the vacation schedule of these people representing you in Washington? While a lot won't be happening in Washington, the politicking will spread throughout the nation. You can absolutely bet that everyone is going home to their districts with a strategy. August will be the long, hot, grueling preparation for the showdown in the fall. I want you to know exactly what the Democrat strategy is for August, and I want you to notice how the lapdog media plays right into the hands of the Democrats trying to establish their message ahead of the fall budget showdown. The strategy is called “A Better Bargain for the Middle Class.” Yes, that is what lawmakers are supposed to go home and push while the president vacations at a $7.6 million villa in Martha's Vineyar d. The plan will focus on five things: Job creation, education, housing, retirement security and Obama Care. Obama also laid out his strategy for dealing with Republicans on upcoming budget issues: There will be no compromises. No negotiations on the debt ceiling or sequestration. “Stimulating” the economy (aka. Spending more money) will take priority over any need to bring down the debt. Republicans can also expect progressives to show up to townhall meetings and speeches and cause a ruckus. According to a report in the Huffington Post: “On Wednesday, [the progressive group Americans United for Change] is launching Accountable Congress, a new website meant to be a summer toolkit for the progressive community, providing information about where Republican members of Congress and senators will be speaking during the August recess away from Capitol Hill. It includes progressive talking points on issues of the day, including immigration, climate change and gun violence, in addition to suggested questions to ask Republican lawmakers.” Looks like the long, hot summer is far from over.

It's The End Of The Session In Washington! - Posted by Ryooper1
It's the end of the legislative session in Washington and all I can say is... thank God!  I think it would honestly be cheaper and better to give our legislators a year's pay and tell them to not vote on anything.

Senators now have two days to read and digest it before a Wednesday vote. Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), the lead GOP negotiator, said the bill contains all the most vital reforms Republicans have demanded and called it a "once-in-a-generation opportunity to close our open border." "The bill provides funding to build the wall, increase technology at the border, and add more detention beds, more agents, and more deportation flights. The border security bil
