Democratic state senators in Colorado recalled after anti-gun votes

Strong message sent to anti-gun Democrats…

Citizens in Colorado can breathe easier after they successfully recalled two state senators who voted against their natural rights to bear arms. State Senate PresidentJohn Morse and Senator Angela Giron were removed from office by popular vote. They had both voted in favor of 15-round limits on ammo magazines as well as expanded background checks. The legislation passed and was signed into law, driving angry voters to initiate recall proceedings at the beginning of the summer.

Republican Bernie Herpin will replace Morse and Republican George Rivera will replace Angela Giron. Two Democrats were replaced with two Republicans in a race that even New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg participated in, spending $350,000 unsuccessfully to back the anti-gun Democrats.
