Patriot Post Follow Up Website Review

The Patriot Post: Voice of Essential Liberty

Fellow Patriots,

Thanks to many of you who provided us with constructive feedback on our new website design. While we received a lot of positive comments, we'd like to answer a couple of recurring questions.

Some of our long-time readers responded, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

The function and design changes were not about aesthetics, they were necessitated by a transition in the way our readers receive and share our content. Thus, two significant changes were:

  1. To provide a mobile version of the site. Roughly half of all web traffic is now received on mobile devices, and our new mobile optimized site takes full advantage of that growing trend.
  2. To allow for easier commenting and sharing on each story. Social media is powerful, and we aim to harness it for the cause of Liberty. For example, The Patriot Post is now followed by more than 100,000 fans on Facebook, and that number is growing rapidly since our new site launch.

Additionally, we have added a new content category on our website -- Right Hook -- a daily collection of very brief but hard-hitting posts from our editors, which will soon be available as part of the early bird Founder's Quote Daily each morning.

Finally, some readers noted that it was not clear where to read and print the email formatted edition on our website. Our email editions are the bedrock of our publication, and each edition is still posted online in its entirety.

There are three ways to get there. At the top of each email, you'll see, "View online at:" followed by the link to the full edition. Alternatively, on the web, at the top of the right column, you'll see three light blue buttons under "Current Email Digests" indicating the three most recent editions. Finally, all Patriot Post content -- from email Digests to Alexander's columns to Humor and much more -- is available under "Archives" in the main menu.

On behalf of your Patriot Post staff and National Advisory Committee, thank you for your devotion to Liberty! God bless you and your family, and may God continue to bless our great nation!

Senators now have two days to read and digest it before a Wednesday vote. Sen.
