Real War on Women: Planned Parenthood Silent on Obamacare Failures

by Katie McCann | Washington, DC | LifeNews.com | 10/31/13 1:06 PM

For the past three years, pro-life Republicans have been impugned for waging a so-called "war on women." Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood and pro-abortion politicians championed Obamacare as proof that they do care about women's health.

But as hundreds of thousands of Americans (half of whom are women) lose their health care insurance to the demands of Obamacare, Planned Parenthood is being exposed for the hypocrites that they really are. Women's health is not their issue—abortion is.

The health care law they insist on defending is plagued with ironies and failures that any true women's health advocate would work to resolve. Maternity coverage for women well-past child-bearing age is required under Obamacare. Yet a pregnant woman in Californiarecently learned she would be losing her health care insurance because it does not conform with Obamacare's rules.

Other news stories tell of women who have been "forced" out of the health care insurance plans that Obama publicly promised Americans they could keep. A woman's ability to make real health care choices is vanishing for hundreds of thousands of women.

I have to ask—where is Planned Parenthood now?

Where are the pro-abortion politicians now?

They are silent on these policy failures of Obamacare. And that silence is deathly.

If Planned Parenthood really cared about women's health, they would look to restore a woman's dignity and independence rather than line their pockets with the million dollars their clinics have received from Obamacare. Planned Parenthood would not make women slaves to itself or to the law.

CLICK LIKE IF YOU'RE PRO-LIFE!

They are hypocrites, and the war on women they have accused pro-lifers of conducting is being waged by Planned Parenthood itself.

Their illusion has been shattered.
