Wendy Davis is pro-life, except when it comes to killing babies Via @dailycaller

You may know Wendy Davis as the Texas state senator who wore pink sneakers while filibustering for the right to kill as many babies as you want, became a liberal media darling, and is now trying to parlay that "success" into a gubernatorial campaign. But did you know she's also a hilarious stand-up comic?

Ty Johnson, Brownsville [TX] Herald:

It was late June when Wendy Davis, a state senator from Fort Worth, rocketed to national prominence on the strength of a 11-hour filibuster of a bill being considered that would indirectly lead to closing abortion clinics across Texas…

But while in Brownville Tuesday, Davis revealed her campaign for governor isn't based on her abortion filibuster and brightly colored shoes…

Davis suggested that her views on abortion access do not mean she does not care about life.

"I am pro-life," she said, borrowing from the label anti-abortion activists assign themselves. "I care about the life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream, every woman and man who worry about their children's future and their ability to provide for that future. I care about life and I have a record of fighting for people above all else."

Those poor, hungry, uneducated kids. They're better off dead before they're even born. (Or afterward, if Davis has her way.) And an abortion makes life a lot easier on those unfortunate unparents, without that extra mouth to feed.

What could be more pro-life than that?

If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. And if you don't like your baby, you can kill your baby. There is no such thing as objective truth. Go back to sleep.
