The Patriot Post: Voice of Essential Liberty

mark-mug-sm.jpg

Patriots,

As we approach the end of 2013, the prospect for restoring the Liberty enshrined in our Constitution continues to improve. The number of Americans joining the debate about the proper role of government authorized by our Constitution is growing, but we have major battles to win in 2014 and beyond.

Of the original Patriots' fight for Liberty, George Washington wrote, "Our cause is noble; it is the cause of mankind!" Indeed, it remains our noble cause today.

As the "Voice of Essential Liberty," The Patriot Post is a primary touchstone for the growing ranks of grassroots conservatives. It will, at best, take many election cycles to re-establish the primacy of First Principles and Rule of Law, and to reset our course toward Liberty. But the daunting task ahead is no deterrent to our mission, and we will not waver.

As you know, our humble enterprise is not sustained by any political, special interest or parent organization. We accept no online or e-mail advertising in order to avert any undue influence on our mission. Our operations and mission are funded by -- and depend entirely upon -- the voluntary financial support of American Patriots like you.

Though our operations budget is a small fraction of what it costs other influential organizations to promote Liberty, we reach a far wider audience with a clear and reasoned message of Liberty. But publishing the nation's leading journal of Liberty is not free.

It takes a skilled team of writers and editors and a great management and technical crew to ensure the quality of our Liberty outreach. Internet publishing is expensive: It requires sophisticated hardware, custom software, installations and offices. We also have substantial legal, accounting and insurance costs.

However, we publish The Patriot Post for less than one dollar per reader per year -- much less when considering that our content is forwarded to countless others, and reposted on blogs and social networking sites. For example, our Facebook following is now approaching 200,000, and our content is shared with countless others. High school teachers and college and university professors use our content to teach their students, and state political and cultural organizations reprint our content for their members.

Notably, members of the U.S. Congress and state legislatures around the nation circulate our content to their colleagues.

In other words, we are very good stewards of every dollar you invest in our mission.

We still have $90,432 left to raise in order to meet our 2013 Year-End Campaign goal. If you are able, please take a moment and make a secure online contribution to The Patriot Post today. If you prefer to support us by mail, please use our printable donor form, or print the donor guide below.

I thank you for the honor and privilege of serving you as editor and publisher of The Patriot Post. On behalf of our editors and staff, and National Advisory Committee, thank you, and God bless you and your family this Christmas season.

Pro Deo et Constitutione — Libertas aut Mors
Semper Vigilo, Fortis, Paratus et Fidelis
