Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., and her husband, Joseph Shepard, recently paid about $2.7 million for a unit in the mixed-use development, according to D.C. property records. The sale, recorded Feb. 2, appears to be the most expensive condo unit to sell so far at CityCenterDC, where units have ranged from $417,000 and $1.7 million. Hines Interests LP expected the units to range from $500,000 for a 689-square-foot unit up to $800,000 or more for a 1,000-square-foot unit. Available on the App Store.
