greghalvorsonblog.com - I am not normally speechless, and I didn't wake this morning hyper-enthusiastic about blogging about Asian carp, but if you're a blogger these days, it's hard to get past the sociopathic level of absurdity that has come to define American politics. I'd rather post my guacamole recipe (it's Cinco de Montho, right?) than a vein-curdling rant.

"Words matter," Sen. John Hoffman (D-Champlin) said in urging the change. "We may not be able to stop others from using the terminology," he said, "but the state does not need to use the term 'Asian.'"
