A three year-old boy was shot in the head on the West Side and at least seven others were wounded in shootings across the city overnight, according to authorities.

Chicago Tribune - A three year-old boy was shot in the head on the West Side and at least seven others were wounded in shootings across the city overnight, according to authorities.

The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital after he was shot in the 4300 block of West Monroe Street in the city's West Garfield Park neighborhood about 7:30 p.m. Police said it may have been accidental.
