 His name is Jordan Matson. He's a 28-year-old Wisconsin native who now goes by the name of Sadar. After reportedly serving in the U.S. Army as an infantryman from May 2006 until November 2007, Matson tells USA Today in an exclusive interview that he just couldn't sit around and watch Christians continue to be slaughtered by radical Islamists.

So he got a job, saved money for travel and living expenses, and took off for the Middle East.
