Breaking: SCOTUS Justice Sonia Sotomayor Issues Temporary Stay On Kansas Same-Sex Marriage

 Late this afternoon Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt filed a 106-page motion requesting the Supreme Court stay last week's decision striking down same-sex marriage.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor has granted a temporary stay, and is requiring responses by 5:00 PM Tuesday, when the ruling allowing same-sex marriages to begin was to go into effect.
