OGA Show Update - John Hames Provides an Update of Old Guard Audio Podcast

OGA SHOW UPDATE - JOHN HAMES PROVIDES AN UPDATE OF OLD GUARD AUDIO PODCAST

Greetings Friend

The background music was written, created and written by a good friend from Memphis Tennessee, who wanted to contribute to the podcast with his music. He is a fantastic pianist, at the end of this episode, I will play the selection in it’s entirety.

No politics today. I wanted to let you know about the outreach of he show.

The show is nearing 14,000 downloads, with several days reaching the 200+ download mark, and I am grateful to you for that, as I am greatly encouraged.

Old Guard Audio is reaching people in 68 countries; I won’t bore you with all those countries, but the top 10, outside the United States .

  1. Vietnam, 2. Russian Federation, 3. Ireland, 4. Canada, 5. Ghana, 6. Philippines, 7. France, 8. United Kingdom, 9. Islamic Republic of Iran, 10 Israel

California holds the top spot for states in US, with the most listens, the highest areas in California are San Francisco / Oakland and San Jose. Tennessee is #2, 3rd is New York and then Washington.

The most listened to episode by far is the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before congress. That is note worthy as that speech was just a month ago… After that, Governor Walker’s Iowa Speech, then Ted Cruz’s presidential announcement. Any audio of Trey Gowdy, especially having to do with the Hillary Benghazigate has a large audience.

So, I just wanted to thank you for the listenership and your support. I hope to be able to keep the show going at least until the 2016 presidential election is over. However the cost of broadcasting on the web is way more than the show is generating in income.

How can you help support Old Guard Audio?

By telling your friends how to subscribe to the show, on their phone, PC, Mac, or other device. Send them to the about page and that is www.oldguardaudio.com/about. Or do like I do, ask them if they have a Smartphone, the answer is always yes, say let me see it, and show them. I am ordering some business cards to help promote the show, I would be glad to send you some to hand out to your friends, just send me an email john@OldGuardAudio.com or use the contact page on the website.

You can help by visiting the show home page, and just using the Amazon link. Amazon has a program that allows podcasters to display a link, and if you use that link to make a purchase, then I get a small commission. During the Christmas ordering season, I was encouraged by the Amazon purchases, but they have now diminished greatly. I want to send a special thank you to the listener that is using the Amazon links to purchase in the musical instruments category. I would love to know how that Zoom H5 recorder and the microphones are working. I use a Zoom H4 to record the episodes, and I a gadget nut as well. So, Thank you very very much.

One way to save money around the house with Amazon, is to do what my wife does, she uses Amazon Subscribe and Save. I just added a link to this program at OldGuardAudio.com. The Subscribe and Save program allows one to subscribe to items you use all the time, like paper towels, bath tissue, laundry detergent. You get a Save up to 15% and receive FREE shipping on thousands of products. Then once a month or whenever you say, you come home from work and find a box of paper towels at your doorstep. You can really save money and the time and gas from running to the big box stores all the time for a roll of paper, or a box of baby diapers.

Yet another way to help, if you see a Google ad that interest you, clicking on those send me a few pennies, and you don’t even have to buy anything.

Additionally, I just added a PayPal Donate link if you just wanted to send a donation. I don’t like asking for financial support, but I will likely have to re-evaluate the value of the tremendous time investment, and the cost of presenting the episodes, in the near future.

While this is not exactly a religious show, I would cherish your prayers for me, for the show, and for our country.

Well, I thank you again, and pray that God blesses you and your family.

Oh, on April 2nd 3rd at 7pm Eastern time, and April 5th at 6pm my church, Higher Ground Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN will be broadcasting live our Easter Drama, I will be singing in the choir, if you have a chance to tune in, watch at higherground.org look for the watch live link.

Check out this episode!
