The Boston Field Division is responsible for criminal enforcement and industry regulatory operations throughout New England including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. The work force is comprised of special agents, industry operations investigators, auditors, technicians, intelligence analysts and administrative staff. We encourage all residents to get involved and assist us in our goal of reducing crime in our neighborhoods by anonymously submitting information through our new ATF Tips app (Android and iOS), visiting the reportit website, submitting an anonymous form, or by reaching out to your local field office. New Press Release – Gang Member Sentenced to 30 Years in Federal Prison for 2011 Murder

Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that TREVOR MURPHY, also known as "Snookie," 29, of West Haven, was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge Janet C. Hall in New Haven to 360 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for murdering Joseph Zargo on December 23, 2011.

2 New Haven Men Who Committed Gang-Related Murders Sentenced to Long Prison Terms

Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that two members of a violent New Haven street gang were sentenced today in New Haven federal court for committing gang-related murders and other criminal activity. Chief U.S. District Judge Janet C. Hall sentenced JEFFREY BENTON, also known as "Tall Man," "Fresh," and "JT," 32, to 40 years of imprisonment and ROBERT SHORT, also known as "Santana," 30, to 30 years of imprisonment.
