Punishing the gun industry external site
President Donald J. Trump can do one simple thing that would, with one stroke of his pen, save little businesses across America, bring fairness to a politically incorrect industry that voted for him and stop another attempt to bankrupt America's gun manufacturers. Mr. Trump can approve this reform to modernize our export-control language so that it includes the U.S. ammunition and firearms industry. All of the other industry sectors that were involved have already benefitted from this process, as their oversight for export was moved from the U.S. Department of State to the import-export experts at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Nevada: Reminder, Hearing Tomorrow With New Updates, Contact your Legislators Today!
Late yesterday, the Judiciary Committee announced yet another change to Monday's agenda for their gun control hearing, this time limiting the amount of time for consideration on AB 291, the omnibus gun control bill, and a time change for AB 153, to impose one-size-fits-all standards for firearm storage.  This sudden change seems to signal an alarming trend where legislation impacting our Second Amendment rights gets rushed through a single joint committee hearing instead of separate hearings in each chamber like other legislation.

Follow us on Twitter View this as website BY JAMIE MCINTYRE ADVERTISEMENT FROM 'CATCH AND RELEASE' TO 'DETAIN AND DEPORT': After months of hard-nosed negotiation behind closed doors in the Senate, the text of a compromise $118 billion national security supplemental budget bill, which includes major concessions from the Democrats on border security and desperately needed aid for Ukraine, was released last night. Senators now have two days to read and digest it before a Wednesday vote. Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), the lead GOP negotiator, said the bill contains all the most vital reforms Republicans have demanded and called it a "once-in-a-generation opportunity to close our open border."
