Catch up with the daily NRA-ILA Alert! view the web version of this email DAILY ALERT FOR Friday, February 21, 2020   LEGAL & LEGISLATION New Mexico: Legislature Adjourns from Embattled Legislative Session Yesterday, the New Mexico Legislature adjourned from its short 2020 Legislative Session.     LEGAL & LEGISLATION Maryland: Most Restrictive Gun Ban in State History Withdrawn from Consideration Today, the Maryland House Judiciary Committee voted to withdraw gun ban legislation, House Bill 1261, from consideration.    LEGAL & LEGISLATION New Hampshire: House Passes Private Transfer Ban and Waiting Period Bills This week, the New Hampshire House of Representatives passed two anti-gun bills. Both of these bills will restrict our Second Amendment rights while doing nothing to reduce violent crime in New Hampshire. These bills will go to the New Hampshire Senate, where they await committee assignments.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Washington: Senate Committee Hearing Firearm Seizure Bills On February 24th, the Senate Law & Justice Committee will be hearing a number of anti-gun bills that crossed over from the House.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Missouri: Committee Hearing Right to Hunt & Fish Amendment On February 24th, the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Food Production, and Outdoor Resources is hearing Senate Joint Resolution 62 to amend the Constitution of Missouri to affirm that it is a right of the public to hunt, fish and harvest wildlife.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Oklahoma: Legislation to Repeal Constitutional Carry Overwhelmingly Defeated in Committee Yesterday, Oklahoma Representative Jason Lowe presented a bill in the House Public Safety Committee to repeal Oklahoma's Constitutional Carry law.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Oregon: Work Session Today On Government Mandated Gun Lock-Up Bill Today at 3:00PM, the House Rules Committee will convene and is scheduled to hold a work session on House Bill 4005A to impose one-size-fits-all standards for firearm storage. The vote on whether to send it to the House floor is expected to occur after 5:30PM.  SHARE THIS EMAIL   HELP DEFEND SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS   Find Your Polling Place  Register To Vote  Write Your Lawmakers  Volunteer!    FOLLOW NRA-ILA � 2019 National Rifle Association of America, Institute For Legislative Action.
