Though Gov. Northam was unable to get the General Assembly to pass his comprehensive gun ban during the 2020 session, he stated during his press conference at the bill signings that he will seek it again next year.   THE WASHINGTON FREE BEACON New Gun Owners Could Sway Future Elections The record-breaking gun sales during the coronavirus pandemic could bolster candidates that support the Second Amendment in 2020 and alter the course of American gun politics for the foreseeable future.
