Yesterday, the Ninth Circuit granted en banc review of an NRA-ILA backed lawsuit challenging California's ban on magazines containing more than ten rounds.

South Carolina: Open Carry Bill Committee Hearing Moved to Next Week
On March 2nd, the House Judiciary Committee will hear House Bill 3094, to legalize the open carry of handguns. It is being rescheduled from the February 23rd hearing. Previously, on February 10th, the General Laws Subcommittee issued a favorable report to HB 3094 and advanced it to the full committee.

On Wednesday, we reported to you on House Bill 2249 and Senate Bill 18, NRA-backed bills which establish that firearms and ammunition manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, suppliers and retailers are essential businesses that shall not be prohibited by state or local officials from operating during a declared disaster or emergency.
