Today the NRA-ILA and the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association filed a reply brief asking the Supreme Court to hear a case challenging New York's restrictive concealed-carry-licensing regime.

Today, the Wyoming Senate passed Emergency Powers Legislation, Senate File 155, by an overwhelming 28 to 2 vote.  Also today, the House Judiciary Committee voted 8 to 1 to advance House Bill 116, legislation to remove the residency restriction for permitless carry.

Alabama: Committee Advances $200 Lifetime Carry Permit Bill
Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted 9-0 to advance Senate Bill 308 without amendment to the full Senate for further consideration. It creates a new lifetime carry permit option for state residents at $200. The sheriffs are expected to continue their attempts to raise the cost to $500.
