The New Mexico Legislature adjourned sine die at noon today.  The following gun control measures were defeated this session, which was especially challenging with the Capitol closed to the public and committee hearings held via Zoom instead of in-person.  NRA-ILA appreciates all of you who participated in these meetings to voice your concerns about these bills, and who contacted your lawmakers in opposition to them.  Warning: we expect to see many of these again in future legislative sessions!   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Texas House Committee to Hear Permitless Carry Legislation Next Thursday On Thursday, March 25, the Texas House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety will hear House Bill 1238, by Rep. Kyle Biedermann (R-Fredericksburg), House Bill 1911, by Rep. James White (R-Woodville), House Bill 1927, by Rep. Matt Schaefer (R-Tyler), and House Bill 2900, by Rep.
