Catch up with the daily NRA-ILA Alert! view the web version of this email DAILY ALERT FOR Tuesday, March 9, 2021   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Nevada: Committee Hearing Bill to Expand Prohibited Persons Category Tomorrow, the Assembly Judiciary Committee will hear Assembly Bill 42, legislation that expands prohibited persons in Nevada.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Alabama: Senate Bill Introduced for $200 Lifetime Carry Permit Today, Senator Randy Price (R-13) introduced Senate Bill 308, to create a new lifetime carry permit option for state residents. A similar bill was introduced in the House last week, but pressure by the sheriffs resulted in a house committee increasing the cost from $200 to $500. In SB 308, the cost for a lifetime permit is $200.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Maine: NRA-Backed Sunday Hunting Bill Introduced Today, Senator Jeffrey Timberlake, introduced Legislative Document 1033, which would create Sunday hunting opportunities for Maine sportsmen and women by allowing Sunday hunting on private property with written landowner permission.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Missouri: House Passes Public Transit Self-Defense Bill Yesterday, the House passed House Bill 52 by an overwhelming majority of 124-32, to ensure law-abiding citizens may carry firearms for self-defense on public transit. It now goes to the Senate for further consideration.    LEGAL & LEGISLATION Colorado: Storage Legislation Passed on Second Reading as Similar Rules Ravage Gun Dealers in Littleton – Another Anti-Gun Measure to Receive Vote Today After hours-long debate last night, the Colorado House passed mandatory storage legislation, House Bill 1106, on Second Reading.
