Bill author, Rep. Matt Schaefer (R-Tyler), and Senate sponsor, Charles Schwertner (R-Georgetown), announced this afternoon that the House and Senate conferees have reached an agreement on House Bill 1927, landmark NRA-backed constitutional carry legislation.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Vermont: Legislature Recesses The 2021 Session Vermont lawmakers wrapped up the all-virtual 2021 legislative session late Friday afternoon.  Ordinarily, the Legislature would call it quits until the following January.    LEGAL & LEGISLATION New York: Microstamping and Anti-Gun Bills on the Move in Albany This week, a trio of anti-gun bills were passed out of Senate committees with the only opposition coming from minority Republicans.    LEGAL & LEGISLATION Pennsylvania: Constitutional Carry Bill to Be Considered Next Week! House Judiciary Chairman Rob Kaufman has announced that he plans to report a constitutional carry bill out of committee next week.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Nebraska: Pro-Gun Omnibus Legislation Approved and Sent to the Governor Today, the Nebraska Legislature gave final approval to pro-gun omnibus legislation, Legislative Bill 236.    LEGAL & LEGISLATION New Hampshire: Senate Judiciary to Vote on Pro-Gun Bills Next Week On Tuesday, May 25, the Senate Judiciary Committee is holding an executive session where they may vote on House Bill 307 and House Bill 334.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Colorado: Three Anti-Gun Bills Scheduled for Separate Committee Hearings Multiple gun control measures have been scheduled to receive public hearings early next week.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Delaware: House Passes Ban on Home-Built Firearms Yesterday, the House voted 23-18 to pass House Bill 125, to essentially end the centuries-old practice of home-built firearms for personal use and to ban existing home-built firearms. It now goes to the Senate Judiciary Committee for further consideration.
