On Tuesday, Pennsylvania's effort to join 21 other states with Constitutional Carry officially launched as the House Judiciary Committee voted to report House Bill 659, by Rep. Aaron Bernstine, to the House floor for consideration.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Ohio: Bills Introduced to Protect 2A Rights in Emergencies Today, state Senator Tim Schaffer and Representative Scott Wiggam introduced companion bills: Senate Bill 185 and House Bill 325.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Alabama: Texas Beats Alabama to Become 21st Constitutional Carry State Yesterday, the Texas Legislature accepted the conference committee report for House Bill 1927, their constitutional/permitless carry bill.   NEWS  Take Action: Anti-Gun Nominee for ATF Director David Chipman's Hearing is Tomorrow The United States Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a nominations hearing tomorrow morning. The hearing will include the nomination of David Chipman to be Director of ATF.   LEGAL & LEGISLATION Texas Legislature Passes HB 1500: Protecting 2A Rights During Disasters! While passage of HB 1927, NRA-backed constitutional carry legislation, dominated the news yesterday, another important NRA-supported measure received final passage in the Texas Senate with bipartisan support: House Bill 1500   LEGAL & LEGISLATION California: Anti-Gun Bills Headed to the Floor Last week was the fiscal deadline in California.
