The unmaking of our heroes

Fellow Conservative, You can tell a lot about a society by the heroes that it celebrates – or the ones that it refuses to celebrate. Unfortunately, America seems to be losing sight of many of our most praiseworthy icons. And the Left is intentionally working to reframe our historical figures to advance their misguided policies. For example, did you see what they recently did with Superman? He's a character who's supposed to inspire us to preserve what's great about our country. But goodbye to 80+ years of Superman protecting Lois Lane and spreading the motto of "truth, justice, and the American way." And hello to him coming out as bisexual with the motto of "truth, justice and a better tomorrow." So, it's up to us as conservatives to ensure that the next generation still has the right heroes to look up to. Whether its our Founders, those who have led us through great trials, or those who just accomplished something unprecedented. For example, last week Heritage celebrated Clarence Thomas's 30 years as a Supreme Court justice. What a milestone! With tons of similar events going on for him, I was honored that Justice Thomas attended ours. He's the kind of figure who our kids should learn about and admire.
